FOURTEEN CANDLES
Fourteen candles glow in the dark
Thrusting their flame, igniting their spark
Let each one reflect a part of your life
As a child, a young lady, a woman, a wife
Let the glow of the candles become a memory
To guide you through life's destiny
And if you ever come upon a rainy day
Close your eyes and let the light lead your way
Let these candles be a reminder of the person you are
Let them give you the strength to reach the highest star
Be true to yourself
Don't ever be deceived
For if you believe in yourself
You will always achieve
So, take a deep breath
And blow out the
Candles' light
And remember the words that were spoken tonight
You're our beautiful daughter
And we're happy to say
You've made us proud of you
In each and every way
May you climb the highest mountain
And may your wishes all come true
Let's all join together now and sing
Happy Birthday to you

COACH ED - CANDLELIGHTING
I know that I'm a lucky guy
And meeting my coach is one reason why
Starting tennis lessons at camp, I hardly knew a thing
Until Coach "Ed" took me under his wing
He's a terrific coach
He truly loves the sport
He's taught me valuable lessons
Both on and off the court
He always works me hard
Till' my body glistens
And if something is bothering me
He'll take the time to listen
Thank you Coach Ed
For inspiriing me
To be the best person
That I can be
The ball's in your court
So take a swing
And come add more spark
to my candle lighting

FOR MY GRANDMOTHER - CANDLELIGHTING
Goodness and kindness
Go beyond all measures
A grandmother like my Bubbe
Is considered a treasure
When I visit her at her home
At my heartstrings she pulls and tugs
Cause' when I arrive and she opens the door
I'm greeted with a big smile and warm hugs
And when I walk into her house
I do so with no regrets
For there's always the smell of matzoh ball soup
Mandel bread or corn croquettes
You're my loving grandmother
To all of us you're such a delight
Please come join me at my table, Bubbe
And make my next candle shine bright

HAPPY 50th BIRTHDAY
Five is only a number
On you it doesn't show
You're looking pretty good for a man your age
Even when you add the O !
Even though you may be a little upset
And things might be kinda' slow
Keep the faith and don't give up so fast
Cause' you've got another FIFTY to go !
This is really
Such a special day
Take some time
And go out and play
Build a sand castle
Or play on a swing
Or sit back and reflect
And don't do anything
To a new beginning
To a future that's nifty
Here's hoping you enjoy
Another round of FIFTY !

Ye are summoned to a party
To celebrate Halloween
A costume is required
With a medieval theme
Thee' can be Lancelot, Gwenivere
Or one of King Arthur's knights
Thous' can wear metal armor
Tunics and/or tights
Robin Hood or Maid Marion
Ye may choose to be
Or from Sherwood's Forest
Ye can even come as a tree !
Be bold and daring
In your attire
Relive medieval times
In fun and satire
Join us and have fun
Don't be "whinees"
Eat, drink and make merry
With ye royal "hynies"

WEDDING VOWS
If dreams and wishes could come true
If fantasies became real life
Then this is the day I have waited for
For today I become your wife
Looking back to past romances
In searching for the perfect mate
Little did I know the moment we met
You were to be my fate
I love your gentle kindness
Your strength and honesty
I trust you and believe in you
Unconditionally
I've always said that someday
The right man would brighten my smile
I've always that said someday
He would walk that extra mile
I've always said that someday
The right man would suddenly appear
And as I stand by your side
Today as your bride
I know my someday is here
